Bought a new Z 7 - Thanks Nitro Owners

For the past month or so I had been reading up on many posts to this site pertaining to Z 7's. On October 12, I finally pulled the trigger on a deal I couldn't refuse and bought a brands new 2011 Nitro Z 7 with 150 Optimax Pro XS. It already had the 2nd console and hydraulic steering. I added a hot foot and 6 in jack plate based on recommendations here. The boat had never seen the water.



Go figure in Iowa we have rain and storms the past 2 weekends so I've only had it out on the water for 3 hours but so far it seems amazing.



This site is a blessing for a first time boat owner.

congrats.they are great fishing boats,just dont get so excited that you overlook the proper engine break in procedure,good fishing.

I believe any boat from '08 or possibly '10 forward has the correct EPA recommended fuel lines.

You should have the right lines, but remember the dealer does the rigging. Best you check it to make 100% clear.
