Boatbuckle Question - 1997 Nitro Trailer

I am wanting to put Boatbuckle brand retractable tie downs on the trailer of my 1997 Nitro. I read on here somewhere about the boat possibly hitting them, is this an issue.

John - Which boat? I have them on my '99 700lx with the standard mounting just right through the trailer where the manual tiedowns hooked on, never had an issue, as long as the buckles and their strap is BELOW your bunks when retracted it shouldn't be an issue.



Oh and I've used both Rodsaver and Boatbuckle brands on my 2 tracker/nitro boats with no issues. They are GREAT, I never have to remember where I put the tiedowns, and even my 10 yearold can hook them up/off!

I have a 700LX. Thanks for the info. I am going to get some & put on hopefully tomorrow.
