I have a new txw 175 with a 75hp motor on it and was wondering how big of a lake should i fish with it could it handle a lake like lake Powell or flaming Gorge thanks for the help

You should have no trouble with that boat on any lake. Assuming you are aware of what weather conditions would keep any boat off the water.



I have a Nitro 175 with a 75 hp Merc. and have had it on many large lakes (including Erie). I frequent the Ohio River very often and believe me that's not a waterway to take lightly.



Just practice safe boating and keep your's running in top shape.

Just keep an eye on the weather conditions. Smaller the boat closer you pay attention. Always have a plan and safe port if weather moves in.
