I had never been to a Bass Tournament before and decided to take a ride to see the BassMaster Northern Open in Catskill, NY this past weekend.

It was really cool. Fish Fishburn was really funny and he made everything flow so smoothly as the host even when there were technical glitches with the scale.

Both he and Woo Daves (he won) allowed me and my brother to get pictures with them and all of those guys fishing couldn't have been nicer.

I couldn't believe the size of some of those bass considering how muddy the Hudson was with all of the rain that came in from Hurricane Charley.

Well, being my first year owning a boat, maybe next year I'll get the courage to join a club in the MA area north of Boston.

MK, how cool to see a tournament first hand, and to get a pic with Woo besides!

Had a chance to meet and talk with Woo at the Classic. What a great guy. Glad to see he's in the winner's circle again.

I'd love to fish/observe him fishing in a tourney one day. He will throw everything but the kitchen sink.

I had the honor of fishing with Woo on Erie last month for the first of the Northern opens. He is a great guy. I watched him boat 8 lm from under a dock on the Niagra before I could get 1 senko under there. Mine where on top, beside, ect The wind was whipping and he made it look so easy. I finished 81st last week the weather was bad at it best. Castkill is a quaint little town. The local bowling alley is named "Hoe Bowl" I am sure there is a reason for that but I could not quit laughing everytime I went by.
