One of our former Lincoln, NE guys missed a 4th place finish in the Bassmasters Classic when he had a fish die on the first day of the tourney. The 8 oz. penalty worked out to over $1000 per oz.
Cool story though. Really drives home the point that keeping fish alive is a real goal in these competitions!
