2004 Evinrude 200 HO (E200FHLSRC)

Gentleman,
Looking for some help. I recently purchased a 2004 Stratos 290 Fish and Ski. It came with an Evinrude 200 HO. The boat tends to want to pull left or right when going up/coming down off of plane. I looked to see if there was a trim tab above the prop. Come to find out that where a normal trim tab would be,there is a plug with no fin. Is this normal? Is there a reason why this motor would not have a trim tab. Motor runs great, boat just wants to pull a bit.
Any help-advise would be appreciated.

Type of steering? Hydraulic, Cable (dual - single)

It isHydraulic steering. I have read that this model was prone to this. Just wanted to make sure I was doing everyting on my end. Need to chase some LM in Canada in 2 weeks and wanted to be fitted right.
