does a 2 stroke boat engine needs oil change...I know that it needs added oil to burn with gas and gear lube oil change....I seen a 4 stroke on YouTube and some dude was

Draining oil and pile filter then pour new oil in... :(

no.some you mix by putting oil in the gas and other 2 stroke is oil injec.but the lower unit needs to be change

Josh is correct.........no oil to change in a 2 stroke other than the lower unit gear lube.

Google difference in 2 stroke and 4 stroke. :)

It will explain a bunch!

When I taught small engines at the school I taught at. I had a lady bring in her snowblower with a siezed piston. She said she always mixed the gas and oil properly. Thing was it was a four stroke and it ran out of oil in the crankcase. Surprisenly the cylinder walls weren't too bad. Bored the cylinder put in oversize piston and rings and gave her a lesson on where to put the oil:lol:

fatrap

PS for you fortunate types that don't know what a snowblower is, its what you use a lot in my part of the country to remove snow from your driveway. I helps pass the time when everything is frozen solid and you can't fish.

Imagine the boat toys we could afford without snowblowers fatrap.
