    There was an issue with the Optimax reserve tanks. Check the cap. Mine cracked a few years back and did exactly what you described.

    Kevin: I have a 2014 Z9 with the same motor. I went through the same questions that you have and I ended up speaking with Scott Reichow at Mercury to get things figured out. It will same you a lot of time.

    Sam - I have a 2014 Z-9 with the same engine. It came with the same prop. A lot depends on how the boat is weighted. With 25% fuel and a lighter load I could get about 76 (GPS) out of her.
