    Navionics Hotmaps Platinum Or Premium?

Maybe everyone is still hungover from the New Year? Haha. Any advice?

    Navionics Hotmaps Platinum Or Premium?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you have used Navionics HotMaps Platinum or Premium for smaller reservoirs? My sonar (Raymarine Dragonfly) came with the Navionics Gold package which, of course, does not include Chatfield Reservoir - the area I fish 98% of the time. Chatfield is a small...

Replacing A 4 Pin Connector On Trailer...

Great detail here, Airforce. I really appreciate the insight. When you say, "Do NOT use those damn cheap trailer taps or you're asking for trouble", are you talking about the one's you buy at the autoparts store? Is there a better place to pick them up? Thanks again for your prompt...

Replacing A 4 Pin Connector On Trailer...

So... I took the "Fowl Hooker" up to the farm to store for the Winter a couple of weeks ago. When I arrived, I realized that the connector for my lights had popped out of the socket (no telling how long I didn't have signals or brake lights) and dragged for, what I guess by the nub left, many...

    Concealed Carry choice?????

"Stand out there and I'll shoot you with one. See what you think." - Fatrap This made me laugh. I say the same thing. While I always have my LC9 in the front pocket during short sleeve weather, the Glock 22 is in the center console. I have tried many carry techniques, but the one I feel...

    Concealed Carry choice?????

The law does vary by state. Here in CO, I am not required to inform a peace officer that I have a CCW and there is a law in place preventing a "red flag" when my plate is run. However, I would provide the officer with my DL and CCW should I be pulled over strictly out of courtesy. In regards...

    Kitty Kitty Kitty

Haha. Man, what a funny story. The picture really is worth a 1,000 words. I remember in college when I started up my Ford Bronco in the morning, heard an awful sound and saw fur flying out of the grill. It seems the neighbors cat decide to sleep in the engine compartment right on the fan.

    Rope Ratchet cover

I purchased one from a local guy in Denver that does custom jobs. Not for a model of boat, but for your actual boat. For traveling on highway or over distances it is great. My boat is garaged with the wife's vehicle but when I store it in a barn over the winter (so my truck can be garaged)...

URGENT ADVICE NEEDED - Lindy rig with Planner boards???

Good news is that we don't get 3-4 footers on CO lakes unless the wind really kicks up. Planner boards seem to work well pulling husky jerks and what not. I have been successful like that. I did try trolling crawlers on the bottom with a 1/2oz weight dropped below a 2 ft leader with 2 snelled...

URGENT ADVICE NEEDED - Lindy rig with Planner boards???

Haha. You get what you pay for! Thanks for the response though, AirForce. Turns out you can use planner boards dragging crawlers on the bottom. Doesn't mean it will catch fish though;)

URGENT ADVICE NEEDED - Lindy rig with Planner boards???

Gents - I am taking my father out fishing for Walleye and Trout tonight on my local lake. Depth is anywhere from 8-30 feet. We are planning on bouncing some crawlers on the bottom using a lindy rig. Is it possible to do this with planner boards, or would the depth be too inconsistent? Is a...

Looking to buy my first bass boat............

There is a half decent GPS app out there called "Ulysee Speedometer Pro". It is only a couple of bucks, and has many other features besides a speedo. The GPS works great and it is pretty accurate if it is stationary on the boat. I used this for trolling until I got my new electronics.

Looking to buy my first bass boat............

I have a 2013 Pro Guide V16 WT (the blue one) with a 90hp motor (the max). I have had zero problems with it so far and absolutely love it. My first advice and you will hear it from others is get the largest motor you can afford or the max rated for the boat. You will regret it if you don't...

Bimini Top Repair - Where to buy SS Tubing?

Great advice Gentleman! Thank you. I spoke to an electrician friend who thinks he can help point in the direction of a supplier here in Denver. I was under the impression that Grainger only provided to contractors and other pros. I will look at them again. Either way I have a little time...

Bimini Top Repair - Where to buy SS Tubing?

It was actually given to me by a neighbor because he upgraded to a Z7. There is one piec of the frame that is missing. I do not have a picture, but it is essentially a straight tube about 3 ft long. It will connect directly to the hardware already in place with a screw. Then I would put the...

Bimini Top Repair - Where to buy SS Tubing?

Hello All - I have a bimini top that my neighbor gave to me since it is missing one of the arms on it. The rest is in great shape, but I am wondering where I can get the SS Tubing to make a new arm replacement. Everyone seems to carry the hardware, end caps, etc. but I cannot find the tubing...
