Is There Wood In 2005 Nitro Nx750 Transom

100% it has wood in the transom.

2018 Nitro Z-17 (power Poles Or Talons?) Can It Be Done?

On that boat you will want Power poles. Talons and the brackets are MUCH heavier. Both companies make a sandwich bracket that will work.

    2001 Nx 750 Set Up

I had a 2004 NX750 with a 115 Optimax and a 6” Vance JP. I ran a 22P Laser II (with cup added) to 54 gps and a 21P Trophy plus to 52gps. My best prop to pad was 3.25-3.5. Holeshot sucked with the Laser II though.

    Oil Filter On 200hp Optimax

There are multiple small inline filters on individual oil lines throughout the motor. The is not a single filter like on your car/truck. RH

So I Have A Nitro 700 Lx 2002 Model And I Was Considering Repowering.

I see a lot of those with 115ELPTOs which was Mercury's inline 4 cylinder. They weighed in a 350 pounds. You'd be fine with just about any 115. The SHO you mention lists 377. A Mercury 115 ProXS or 4Stroke is about the same. Go for it. Realize though that you will have to swap out most of...

    Lowrance StructureScan Transducer Placement

I have been unable to get everything mounted due to my work. I'll post pics when it is complete. RH

    Lowrance StructureScan Transducer Placement

I've got the same boat and I just bought an HDS7 with LSS. I plan on putting the 83/200 transducer in the bilge and the LSS transducer on the transom just to the right of the motor. I have a couple of filled in holes that I'll now use to mount the LSS transducer. The LSS box is going to get...

    Mercury Trim Switch Failure

Is it a digital or analog type? I've had no issues with any of the older, analog senders. Is there a chance that the issue is where the sender connects into the harness? RH

Can you ski or tube from a Nitro z-9?

I do it all the time. I have an extra prop that works better since you need power, not speed. I use a 23P Trophy plus instead my regular 25P Tempest. I am never above 45ooRPM since I do not want to over rev the motor. If you are serious about doing it regularly, get a ski pole instead of...

Need help with sonar power issue

I have a 2004 NX750 and it has a master power switch too. I have an Elite5 and an Elite7 plus the livewell aerator and recirc pumps that run off the starting battery (Sears PM1). It never gets drained or even close to it. I have all the electronics through the master power switch with one...

Need a new Tachometer and Fuel Guage Sending Unit

I've yet to own a bass boat or any boat for that matter, that had an accurate fuel gauge. In my experience it will NEVER be like your vehicle. Chasing that ghost will drive you bonkers. As far as tach's go, 6P should be the proper setting once you get one. Look at the tach you have, it...

    04 NX750 DC rod storage

I have the SC version of the NX750. I keep mine in the forward, left compartment. I have a couple of rods over 7' and there is room for longer ones. They used to get hung up on the TM wires that laid on the floor way up front. I hung those wires using zip ties with the ring to secure them...

    Got my barreled action back

Greg, Have you tried playing with seating depth? The other thing I'd try are Federal's Large Rifle Magnum Match primers. They have a more consistent burn than regular mag primers. 06

New Nitro owner with steering issue

If you can afford hydraulic steering, I'd look into the Baystar system by Teleflex. Although it is not recommended for bass boats, your boat with a 90HP will be fine. UFlex makes a comparable product but without the "no bass boat" limitation. Both run $500-600 plus install. RH

New member, New Nitro, Same bass fishing addiction!

Love my NX750 too. It originally had a 115 but I upgraded to a 135 Optimax. You'll like the boat! When I had the 115HP on it, it really liked a 23P Trophy Plus with the motor in the middle (3rd from the top). How is yours set up? RH

New Nitro owner with steering issue

If the steering is hard as you state whether on plane or at idle it is the steering cable. It is not too hard to replace yourself if you have some time and a lift ring (and hoist) for the motor. I have an NX750 too so if you have any questions about the boat just ask away. I like mine and...

Anyone ever have a rifle rebarreled?

Dave knows what he is doing so if it can be done, he is the guy. Glad it all worked out!!! RH

Anyone ever have a rifle rebarreled?

Do you need an ADL (blind magazine) or BDL (hinged floorplate) stock for your 700? I might have one to send to you. I have a bunch of Remington stocks in my basement that are just gathering dust. RH

Anyone ever have a rifle rebarreled?

I have used IT&D Custom in Ohio for 6 rebarrel jobs. ALL have been great shooters. The bolt face on the 270 is a standard (.473 diameter) and the 300WM requires a magnum (.532 diameter) boltface. You can open them up but it causes other issues that are usually not worth the trouble. The...
