What elevation are you at? You are running a 17p right. I am thinking here at 7000 ft elevation I will have to run the 15 pitch to get the rpm where it needs to be.

Yeah KYSean they told me with 4 guys in the boat and half a tank of fuel in Denver the boat would run 45mph with the 17 pitch on it. The lake they are at is 6000 ft elevation so thats pretty darn good. I have just heard the Vengance prop is a entry level SS where the Enertia is a premium prop...

Well I decided to get my boat at Bass pro as I dont like the local dealer, and they told me the dealer is responsible to prop the engine as they have been running Vengence or Laser 2 props, but I told them I wanted to try the Enertia for the test drive as it is supposed to be a great prop!

Hey KYSean how are you liking the Targa 18 so far? Do you have the Pro XS engine. I am still wondering if it is worth upgrading to the Pro XS when I get mine. Thanks

That is interesting to know, I am trying to learn as much as I can before I get mine. Were you trimmed up? Hopefully Bob will chime in soon.

Some of the guys are saying the pro XS has even higher rpms than the standard Opti. I am just wondering on the Targa 18 boat if it will be that much difference in performance between the 2, its only $500 more for the XS.

Hey Bob I know I have been bugging you with questions, and you have been very helpful. I was just wondering how much difference there is between the 150 Optimax versus the Opti Pro XS. Some guys say there is not much difference and others say there is. Is is worth the extra money on not? Thanks.

Thats pretty good performance for the 150 4 stroke Targa. What elevation are you at? The guys here in Colorado are saying the Optimax are the way to go because of the elevation we are at, the 4 stroke is down on horsepower so I am getting the opti.

Hey Washington Targa what does FOT mean, excuse me for not knowing. Also does it have to be in the 3rd hole or can you move it to the 2nd. Just wondering if you can play with the engine height at all to gain some rpms.

I am looking at the same boat, I just dont see where the boat comes with the Enertia prop. Where are you seeing the Enertia. Trackers website shows it with a aluminum prop. Bob said it comes with SS prop.Thanks

Ok thanks Bow Tech sounds like a good boat it sure looks roomy inside for fishing.I am surprised you didnt get the 150 Opti for more power.:) Does anyone know what the difference is in the Targa and the Tundra. I know they dont make the Tundra anymore, I am guessing the Targa replaced it?
