I had same issue with my Z7Sport. The problem was finally identified. The bunk brackets were to low. I ended up putting aluminum spacers between the front bunk braces and bunks. This raised the bow enough to clear the roller.

Just be aware that I do a Lot of trolling for crappie and spot lock over a lot of brush.
Check the classifieds on crappie.com and you may find a used unit.

Skip- I have a 2011 and love it. Works good for me and the family. I did move the front seat pole to the back to give a little more room for my buddy fishing in the back. Added a set of speakers betwwen the consoles and had a piece of vinyl made that snaps in between the consoles and glass...
Try this guy. He is at the plant. Worked well with me an a warranty iisue.

I also recently bought a new Z7 and I have never had brakes on the last 6 boats I owned. Boy I never knew what I was missing. Bid change and will never own one without. A must have from now on.
