    Removing Motor for Bob B

Just bought a very nice one off of E-bay for $28, had it in two days. Worked like a charm. Just make sure you have the correct part number.

    Feeling a little dumb

I was netting tadpoles off the bow of my boat (for my kids back home) in a stumpy bay with the trolling motor on medium (scouting for em). I went to reaaaach for one sitting on a stump, hit a log and flew into the water watching my boat trolling away. Thank goodness it hooked up on another log...

    My fuses?

Hey Marco, I have a 1993 180 FS. My speedo pickup is in the lower unit. There is a small opening on the leading edge that can easily become clogged. The only power going to the speedo itself should be for lighting. As far as fuses, mine has breakers on the rocker panel just in front of the...

    Mounting transducer in bildge

Thanks for the info Greg, should I use just enough to make it stick or build a surrounding for it so that it is embedded in the epoxy. Most of the epoxy I've used runs and levels out fairly thin if there is nothing to stop it?

    recirculating valve

I took apart my entire bildge/livewell area to do some work, my valve is a red square box located under the gas tank in the bildge area. One end of it went thru the transom fitting, the other end went to the livewell drain. Mine is an old 1993 180FS so it may be quite different, but hopefully...

    Trailer brake part

http://www.championtrailers.com/UFP%20BRAKE%20COUPLER%20PARTS.htm #1 is what I think you are looking for. It is the breakway cable. This is for an A-60 coupler, you may have to search for the one that fits your coupler but this should help. Good luck

    Yellow/Red Wires for a 1994 Nitro 170TF

Yup, neutral safety switch. If you need to know where they go, let me know. I have had all the wiring out of my 93 180FS and came up with my own schematics.

    Recirculating pump operation?

Kind of feel stupid for this post but...I dismantled everything today and did some tracing of lines and think I have it all figured out. Pretty simple once you get at it. The only question I have is in auto mode, what does it use as the timer? Is it the two red cylinders (some sort of...

    Tach setting

To rephrase the question so hopefully it makes sense this time, does anyone know how many poles and or pulses a 1993 Mariner 150 has? Thanks!

    Lower unit removal ?

Thanks! That makes sense, the lower unit seems to be in forward so I'll just move the shifter to forward and we should be good to go. Yea the manual told me to remove all the plugs wires so she doesn't fire up while turning the prop.

    Brakes

My wheel cylinders were seized when I bought my boat, so no brakes. It felt very heavy behind my truck and glad I didn't have to come to an abrupt stop taking it home. I replced the cylinders and adjusted the brake system, it trailers very nice now. I'm glad I did the work. Just my two cents.

    Boat Performance

Sounds like the planing problem was the trim / jackplate position? Just covering the basics so please don't be offended...You had muffs on it or was in a tank when you started it weekly? If not, the impeller might be at fault causing the over-temp alarm?? Might not be a bad idea to replace...
