I have an 896 it does not have a pump out so I use the alligator clips and have a 2nd bilge pump as well as a way to fill my weigh in bags. Works well.

I had a similar problem, and it turned out to be the screen in the oil tank on the boat. It started out as a very intermittent alarm and over time got progressively worse. The fix is simple, pull the screen out of the oil tank, clean the screen with chemtool. My engine is a 96 Merc 200 efi...

Maybe Tritonglenn will chime in. My feeling is you can never have too much boat, condition would be my only criteria.

We had a club tournament, this past weekend, the low was 52 and the high was around 80. Of course it was at Falcon, one of the joys of living in South Tx. I had a rough time but a few of the guys had good days.

If you have the room, a 3 bank charger. If only room for a two I would put them both on the trolling and rely on the big motor to keep the cranking charged.

When I changed, one of the side panels on the MK came off and then the holes aligned. Then I just put he side panel back on.

One has the license plate light and one does not. Which ever one you need you can look at the see through packaging and get the appropriate one. On my trailer either would work.

My livewell pump had a crack and it was solved by replacing the pump. In my current boat you pull the batteries, remove the lid that covers the plumbing and replace the leaking pump. If it is the pump, you will have to do this to see which one is leaking.

I went from a MG to a Minn Kota, There was a side plate on the MK that I had to remove and then the holes lined up. Then you reinstall the side plate, I was told about this by a guy who sells and repairs trolling motors.
