    Trouble with power trim

Check to make sure your pressure relief isn't loose. There should be a large screw type thing near the base of the cylinder,on the right(drivers) side. It will line better up with the motor in the lowered position. It will release the pressure to allow the motor to be raised or lowered...

    2008 Triton Explorer 18

Check the live well size. If is from the lower end of the line, it may have smaller wells than the tourney ready line. Youre in the big time now. You need the biggest and best wells to keep all those hawgs fresh at the weigh in.:) Steve

    VERY Dead Cranking Battery

Are you using an onboard charger ?? I had a battery so dead that my charger would not kick on one time. I hooked up a set of jumper cables to a charged battery and plugged in the charger with the batteries hooked in parallel like that. It somehow tricks the charger into kicking on. Once it's...

    charging

If there are no issues with your 2 bank charger, you could just buy a small 1 bank Guest charger for your cranking battery. A little 5 amp charger would be plenty insurance your cranker is good to go in the morning. Steve

I need a grill for the 4th. Brand suggestions?

Jim, Did you get rid of the crappy fire grate that came with the side fire box?? Very bad design as there is no way to empty out the ash without removing the fire. Makes it a PITA for those long burns of butts and briskets. I found a easy and cheap way to modify it that will let you pull the...

I need a grill for the 4th. Brand suggestions?

I have put my Chargriller through hell. It has seen quite a few truckloads of logs in it's days. I have done some beefing up mods to it, and some work here and there to get it to hold a steady temp better. If I am too lazy to deal with babysitting a wood fire, I can dump a full bag of...

    Home self-defense question

I agree with Gilbert. I keep a 12 guage, 18 1/2" barrel, pistol grip, loaded with 6 shells of 00 buckshot handy. Heck with the handguns, I'm letting the Big Dog do the barking. Steve

    Changing Bearings

Keep track of what tools you need to change the bearings. Pack them away in the truck, or buy some cheap ones to stash away. Clean up the old bearings, put a light coating of grease on them, seal them in a bag and stash them away in the truck also. You may be thankful you have spares some...

    charging help

Ditto what Firedog said. Even though your engine will charge your cranking battery somewhat, with an onboard charger plugged in there will be no question it will be fully charged when you hit the key in the morning. Sorry I can't be of any help with your wireing problem either. Steve

Computer gurus - I need help!!!

You can try a file recovery program like this one. The files are basically hidden away until the space is used up by another. http://www.komando.com/downloads/category.aspx?id=2837
