    Why?

Very sad news. I too had to sit down and figure out how to log back in after so long, but as you did, I felt Bill deserved no less than that effort. What a great, generous, and kind soul has joined the ranks of heaven. RIP Mr. Hamilton.

It Is With A Heavy Heart

Very sad to know he is no longer with us and sharing his riotous humor with all. Prayers sent to his family and loved ones along with his family in the MVM.

Thinking about buying a new Center console.

Satilla Marine in Waycross is where I'd suggest you get a Skiff quote from. The drive isn't that far for the dealer quality and you can't get any closer to buying direct from the manufacturer than them. ;)

    You never forget your first!

Asheville, NC has muskies in the river. Not a far haul at all. ;)

Thinking about buying a new Center console.

In 2005 I bought a new Carolina Skiff 19 DLX CC and have used it for just about every possible fishing application imagined since, both fresh and salt. (I had pics of it on the old site.) I bought it with a 90 HP Yamaha (2 stroke), front and rear casting decks, huge flip-flop cooler seat...

    Get Together

Just to echo 'Raps comments, I wish it were convenient for me also as I'd be there in a heartbeat. I'm sure all will have a great time. Be safe and enjoy the fellowship! Good luck to all!! ;)

    need opinion

I recently had a 90hp 4-stroke Merc hung on our 22' Lowe Elite Tri-Toon we keep at our FL residence. I bought it with a 50hp Suzuki two stroke that came on it originally from the factory. The four stroke choice was made for the quiet enjoyment more than the fuel and overall cost savings, but...

    replacement storage keys

Tox - It appears his original post was intended to only be a tirade against BPS/Tracker and had no desire for help, which you (unfortunately in this case) gave. I'm sure dozens of knowledgable, experienced folk here will jump on the next opportunity to help such a cordial individual in the...

Boat is stored for the winter

I fish year round as well, but relocate to warmer climates where the big girls like to hang.:D

Owners manual for 2008 tracker tundra 18

The manual doesn't address the issue you raise. I advise towel drying the livewell(s), using compressed air in low PSI short bursts to blow pumps and lines free, and elevating the nose of the boat/trailer to a 45 degree angle to drain the lines with all drain plugs pulled. The best...

New Nitro owner with steering issue

What you are experiencing is regardless of HP. You are encountering steering torque from the right hand prop rotation. Advise given above is correct. While throttling up, trim out and you'll notice the steering free up immensely. If not, there could be an issue with the rack or helm, barring...

Lost my SS prop in the worst way

Like Thommo, I'm leaning towards a faulty prop shaft. I've seen similar results in the past. Good luck! ;)

2008 Tracker V17 WT Porpoises during acceleration?

;) You are trimmed down and fully tucked under while starting off, aren't you? If you are not your porpoising could very well be self inflicted. You'll want to start off trimmed down all the way, then as you gain speed and free your hull from the water surface you'll then want to trim bit by...

    Any football fans?

Dawgs and Falcons fan here. With the training camp and Athens in my back yard I'm always hoping for the "shoulda, woulda, coulda!" :D

    facebook problems

Filing a complaint through this link should get FB and the dirtbag's attention and also get you some peace. Good luck! ;) http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

    Bait Caster

:D:D:D Yep, I've seen them get beat on regularly, sometimes without much provocation and/or justification, both before and after the decade or so I was with them. Some of their stuff is good quality for the money like the higher end reels we've spoke of in this thread. :)

    Interior Hull problems

Wow... Just WOW! You have had the patience of Job with this and that is the answer you get? Wow. I hope someone that has a bit more initiative and customer care gets on top of this soon for you. Good luck! ;)

Instead of me, I'm guessing that is in response to: 'Cause I know ya luv me! :D;)

    Bait Caster

Shakespeare (SKP Korea) makes the lion's share of BPS reels in addition to Browning, Pflueger, Pinnacle, and a few other smaller lines. Daiwa has private labeled and produced in exclusivity a few models of spinning reels in the past as well. Lontan (China) makes almost every BPS rod and many...
