We take a family trip once a year and stay at still waters. Still waters is great. Top notch resort 5 min from silver dollar city. Nice beach...super nice pools and family owned. We'll be there in July.

Enjoyed every minute of air time Charlie was given this weekend. Loved the comment he made about getting back to what he loves about the sport...Not the hype but the tick on the end of his line. If nice guys finish last, then great guys finish 14th. I;ll be pulling for him this year SISKO

Thanks for the replies. This will be the 2nd time staying at the Moors. Very nice resort...they really cater towards fisherman. I called Cpt. Kirk but he was booked. He sounded like a real solid guide. I ended up booking "The Big Kahuna" for a day. I'll let you know how we do. SISKO

AZ- I agree that the bite's usually bite better with a gradual rise but they "unleashed the hounds" when were there in April. I didn't attempt to measure but locals believed they had raised the lake 5' in 5 days. Still found a few slabs but heard "should of been here last week" quite a bit...

Jeff, I fish Powerton 2 or 3 times a year. Usually right after it opens because most other lakes are still fairly cool. I usually do pretty well with a Eakins Jig and or a 1/4 0z spinnerbait. I've found that downsizing makes a difference there. Try to target what little structure there is...
